Many of you fondly remember Shawna's music coverage for The Star News, her commentaries on WHQR, and Rich n' Shawna's joint venture of the hip indie bookstore on 17th St.

Medafo Lloyd Wilson, the legendary storyteller, has moved back to town. He will be performing at Old Books on Front St for Be a Tourist in Your Home Town Day Sunday March 4th, 3 PM. In addition to storytelling Medafo will demonstrate several traditional African instruments. This will be a great event appropriate for children of all ages.

Kenzie Keenan is a seventeen year old aspiring artist, born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. She is entering her first year at UNCW and for the time-being wants to pursue a career in creative writing. Kenzie has always had an interest in making things, whether that be pieces of art or stories or cupcakes. She thoroughly enjoys the beat generation, rabbits, and nutella.
